Last week we had the pleasure of rocking on the Chicago Tribune’s streaming radio talk show Chicago Live! Guests included Homaru Cantu (Moto), Tavi Gevinson (Rookie Mag), Ian Shrager (Public Hotels & Pump Room), and Second City actors. Thanks again to everyone for making it a memorable night.

Last weekend we flew out west during Grammy weekend for a few days of shows with Garth Trinidad and KCRW. To say things went good would be quite the understatement. From sharing the stage with such amazing artists as Goapele, Mariachi el Bronx, Sonos, Los Amigos Invisibles, and Dam Funk, to meeting the legendary Sheila E herself; it truly was a blessing to be part of such an inspiring event. Oh yeah, did we also mention that we ended up getting some great press in Billboard as well, talk about your cherry on top.
Love goes out to Garth, Oscar, Oxfam, KCRW, Damon, MD, Del Monte Speakeasy, and everyone else that helped make it a reality, thank you thank you very much.

A Game We Play

FYI, this Friday on 11-11-11, we’ll be at Q4 Gallery in Chicago to play a homecoming show for all of our friends and family. The doors will open around 10pm and we’ll probably hit the stage at 11:30.
